Humic Acid and Seaweed Extract

There is a pronounced degree of synergy between humic/fulvic acids and Ascophyllum nodosum; together they promote root growth and vibrant plant development.

The concept underlying all fertilizer application is that growers must concern themselves with growing two crops in order to harvest one. The first crop that a grower must look after is the soil microbial crop.

These microorganisms are made up of about 50% Carbon, 8% Hydrogen, 20% Oxygen, 14% Nitrogen, 3% Phosphorus and 5% of various secondary and trace elements. Some increase nutrition, others fight off attackers with soil sourced antibiotics or create important enzymatic compounds that plants can uptake for robust health. When they die they leave these important elements in the soil. Every life cycle of a healthy microbial colony donates hundreds of pounds of elemental nutrients to the soil.

Seaweed, like other living plants, contains a natural balance of these elements, making it an ideal fertilizer that supports plant growth and health. Seaweed also contains mannitol a chelating agent that works in conjunction with humic acid to deliver growth and nutrient cycling to your crop.

Application Rates:

Hydrogardens: In the reservoir, add 1 oz (30ml) per gallon of water at each reservoir change.

Foliar Spray: 1 Tablespoon per gallon of water and spray both sides of leaves. Apply every seven to ten days.

Soil: Apply 1-2 gallons of Super Hume/Seaweed with sufficient water to cover an acre. Broadcast directly onto soil at pre-planting.

Cuttings and Seedlings: Mix 1 tablespoon (15ml) per gallon of water. Drench seedlings roots, planting cuttings in solution.
