Water, Soil & Irrigation Treatment

GENISISTm

Clean up of surface and sub-surface soil and water of known contaminated areas has become a national priority. Genisis provides an environmentally safe and non-toxic solution to soil and water contamination using organic microbes and acids.

GENISIS WA  is an organically based, biologically active soil treatment that provides the building blocks necessary for healthy, productive soil. GENISIS stimulates and accelerates the natural processes of beneficial microbes.  It breaks down organic material into an available nutrient source for plants and increases the overall fertility of the soil. GENISIS is compatible with other nutrients. It  increases a plants' ability to utilize nutrients by acting as an organic carrier. GENISIS encourages better water penetration for increased soil aeration and decreased soil compaction.

GENISIS WE is an organically based, biologically active water treatment that promotes the germination of water borne aerobes. It discourages the proliferation of anaerobes in lakes and water features. This allows you to control algae and odor problems. When used in effluent water, GENISIS reduces odor and increases clarity while buffering the salt and nitrates. GENISIS is biologically friendly and will not harm fish or other wildlife.

GENISIS product line is a unique combination of natural microbes and organic acids, formulated and stabilized to do specific jobs in both water and soil. These products are blends, which includes bacteria that are: Oxygenating (create oxygen); Psychrophilic (thrive at relatively lower temperatures); Mesophilic (thrive at moderate temperature ranges); Thermophilic (thrive at relatively high temperatures); and Eurythmic (thrive in a wide range of temperatures). These Strains of bacteria and microbes are blended together with specific organic materials. The synergistic actions of these microbes and their enzymatic matter are capable of breaking down all organic waste, as well as many toxic chemicals, converting this broken down material to beneficial compounds, without leaving non-beneficial residues in either the soil or water environment.

ENZYMES are chemical proteins manufactured by microbes to act as catalysts in the breakdown of organic material. These enzymes are essential to unlocking or breaking down large or complex molecules into smaller units, making them amenable to bacterial osmotic digestion. Enzymes created by the microbes break down grease and other organic material into water-soluble forms where they can be quickly digested. The end result of bacterial digestion is harmless and inert forms of carbon dioxide and water, Bacteria, therefore, are nature's natural means of recycling, or cleaning the environment.

Each bacterial strain formulated into GENISIS produces specific enzymes that are capable of degrading certain matter. Greases, fats and oils require different bacteria and enzymes than proteins, sugars and starches. Therefore, it takes an array of select microbial strains to assure proper bacteria and specific enzymatic matter must be available for the degradation of all organic matter.

GENISIS contains a wide range of aerobic systems capable of naturally manufacturing a total array of enzymes. GENISIS also provides a unique blend of a broad spectrum of enzymes as additives to assist the indigenous beneficial bacterial and other beneficial microorganisms that exist in the environment being treated. The residues of many chemicals found in the soil and water have decreased most of these indigenous populations.

GENISIS enhances or improves the environment, hence the food source, for the indigenous beneficial bacteria and indigenous beneficial microorganisms by digesting or metabolizing the stressful contaminants (carbon) responsible for their reduced populations. More food is thereby available for the reproduction of these indigenous microorganisms. Microorganisms, as all living things pass through the same cycle: growths, reproduction, death, decay. Certain factors will affect these cycles, the most important being: oxygen, temperature, pH, toxins, and food source.

GENISIS works in the following manner:

OXYGEN

Since most organisms are aerobic, without oxygen in their environment (soil or water) they will die. In areas requiring a high biochemical oxygen demand or BOD, aeration of the materials is required to ensure a sufficient supply of oxygen. GENISIS contains, a unique combination of beneficial microbes including oxygenators, which help create sufficient oxygen for aerobic bacterial stabilization.

TEMPERATURE
Every microbial species has a temperature range in which it grows best. Some species thrive in a wide range of temperatures, while others are more delicate. In general, lowering the temperature slows the growth of organisms while temperature increases (within limits) cause-increased activity. GENISIS products work at all temperature levels (within limits)

PH
Most biological organisms can only function properly within certain pH ranges. For example, aerobic organisms work well between the pH levels of 6.5 to 8.5. Anaerobic organisms have a much narrower pH tolerance range and will die or become inactive if pH drops below 6.7 or goes above 7.4. GENISIS works in various pH levels.

TOXIN
Toxins are poisons that can harm the microbial environment. Most toxins are human generated from industrial, chemical, and agricultural activities. Toxins can kill fish, animals and beneficial organisms, including those used in the biological treatment processes. GENISIS breaks down and consumes carbon that can make up toxic substances.

FOOD SOURCE
All living organisms need energy to live, reproduce, and grow. This energy, comes from food that is consumed, in a process called "respiration". Microorganisms break down complex "food" elements into simpler ones, during which energy is released. GENISIS is composed of a material that can be used by organisms as food.

Green plants manufacture energy by trapping the sun's energy and through a process, called photosynthesis, combining carbon dioxide and water to make sugars. Oxygen is a byproduct of photosynthesis and is essential for all human and animal life. Living organisms also require oxygen to break down food during "respiration".

 ORGANIC MATTER

All water contains some organic matter (carbon). Sewage wastewater has large volumes of organic matter (food scraps, feces, paper, etc.). A large majority of this organic matter is biodegradable, which means it can be broken down by microorganisms into harmless inorganic compounds like water and carbon dioxide. Once broken down, the matter then becomes stabilized. Aerobic microorganisms, commonly present in streams, lakes and other bodies of water containing "free" oxygen, must have an oxygen source to live: while anaerobic microorganisms thrive in areas that are devoid of oxygen. With sufficient oxygen, aerobic organisms can stabilize all biodegradable organic matter, whether in sewage or fresh water. GENISIS unique blend of bacteria that can grow in both oxygen and devoid of oxygen water sources.

The amount of oxygen needed by aerobic microorganisms to stabilize the organic matter is called the "biochemical oxygen demand" or BOD. The greater the amount of organic matter, the greater the BOD (or amount of oxygen needed to stabilize it. Soluble gases such as nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide, can also enter water, most of which enters primarily from the atmosphere. One of the chemical properties of water and wastewater is the amount of dissolved oxygen (DO) it contains, low DO is an indication of pollution

Dissolved Oxygen is needed by fish and other aquatic life for respiration. If there isn't enough DO they will die, as the oxygen can be used up if organic wastes enter the water. If there is enough DO and microorganisms present, the water can be cleansed and odor disappears. GENISIS product line has been shown to increase Dissolved Oxygen.
